This life hack has helped me save time and energy during the week, so I am currently “reclaiming my time” every week. (I am sorry. I had to.)
The premise it to cook three dinners on Sundays. It requires some thought, but for the last few weeks I have done it and it has been a LIFESAVER.
I try to make one oven-based meal (O), one crockpot or Instant Pot meal (CP or IP), and one stovetop meal (ST). That way I am utilizing every single way you can cook at the same time.
I get a lot of people asking me what I cook during the week. I decided to post the three meals I cook on Sundays to give you inspiration and help with your meal planning. I will post recipes where I see fit. Otherwise, go by what you know or you know “Google” it.
This week’s meals consist of the following:
BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches with baked beans (CP)
Lasagna with garlic bread and side salad (O)
Baked Chicken (whole) with dill mashed potatoes and a green vegetable (CP)
Now, I know these meals are not always the healthiest or gourmet, but this is what works for me and my family. I suggest you do the same.
I normally will bake a “treat” as well and this week’s is pumpkin bread.
